Yes. Applicants need an electrolysis certificate or recognized aesthetics/laser training in Ontario. But don’t worry — you’re not expected to know everything on day one. That’s why all new hires are enrolled in our apprenticeship: The Art of Bedside Manner & Client Care Mastery: Excellence in Practice. It’s the roadmap Jennifer wished she had when starting out, combining technical mastery with client care excellence and business strategies for success.

Experience is wonderful, but it’s not required. What matters most is that you’re professional, coachable, and excited to learn. You’ll get guidance inside the treatment room — how to make clients feel safe, seen, and respected — and behind the scenes with strategies that build loyalty and income. It’s the full package, and it’s rare in the aesthetics industry.

I created this because, for more than 20 years, I’ve supported thousands of people who came to me after being dismissed, judged, or mistreated in other settings — people dealing with PCOS and hormonal hirsutism, members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, trauma survivors, and folks who faced fatphobia or racism in environments that were supposed to help them.

Those stories became the foundation of this entire mentorship. This program teaches you the consultation process I built over two decades — how to educate clients, reduce fear, support dysphoria, and create an environment where people finally feel safe and understood.

You’ll learn trauma-informed communication, inclusive draping, consent-based touch, and the emotional intelligence needed to help clients feel truly seen. This is the mentorship program I wish existed when I started, and now it’s yours.

The number one skill I look for is coachable energy.

This field demands heart, humility, and the willingness to grow. After years of experience, I’ve learned that success is 80% mindset and 20% strategy, and we build that mindset together.

Through State–Story–Strategy, you’ll learn how to regulate your presence, shift your internal beliefs, and take grounded action in any scenario. And through the G.I.F.T.S. Framework, you’ll learn:

– grounded communication
– inclusive language and care
– flow and structure in the treatment room
– trauma-informed awareness
– and the strategic systems that support your success

These tools become your backbone — in consultations, in difficult moments, and in every client interaction.

This course exists because the industry has a gap — not in services, but in care.

Too many clients have shared stories of being misgendered, ignored, retraumatized, or made to feel ashamed because of their body, identity, or health conditions. People living with PCOS or hormonal concerns, especially, told me they were dismissed or told their concerns weren’t valid. Others experienced fatphobia, racism, or transphobia when they were at their most vulnerable.

Traditional schooling teaches technique — but it does not teach emotional intelligence, inclusive protocols, accessibility practices, or how to hold space for someone who already feels exposed.

This program fills that gap by teaching practitioners how to offer care that is affirming, compassionate, and grounded in real-world needs. It teaches you how to support the person sitting in front of you — not just the treatment they’re receiving.

What makes this program unique is that it goes far beyond technique. You’re learning:

– How to care for clients.
– How to run an organized, ethical, and sustainable business
– How to manage your own emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing.


This profession can be incredibly demanding, both technically and emotionally, so I built a curriculum that blends empathy with structure, mindset with mastery, and heart with high standards.

It’s built from my 20+ years of lived experience and shaped with insight from community leaders working in trauma-informed care, 2SLGBTQ+ support, communication, and safety.

You’re not just learning how to perform a service — you’re learning how to show up for clients in a way that makes them feel safe, affirmed, and cared for, while also protecting your own energy and longevity in this profession.

When you complete this program, you carry trauma-informed, inclusive, affirming care into every treatment and consultation you do — and that creates an incredible ripple effect.
